Upcoming series in the work: Wetlands
Wetlands are incredible ecosystems and have a special place in my heart. They are areas where water covers the soil for long periods of time, either seasonally or year-round. They support a wide range of wildlife adapted to soggy conditions.
I’m planning to feature around 6–8 species for this series, mostly birds, and a mammal. Follow the progress on my Instagram and sign up for my newsletter to learn about release.
New bird mugs added
Many wildlife don’t stay put, because they can’t. They migrate with the seasons, following food, warmth, and safety to where life is possible.
These journeys happen at so many scales. I want to tell a few of those stories through this series: MIGRATION IS NATURAL.
It's a celebration of earth's way to distribute life, nutrients, and ecological balance across the planet.

Every piece you purchase gives back
A portion of proceeds from my shop is going to wildlife conservation organizations. I hope each piece you bring home feels a little more meaningful knowing that together we’re helping protect the wildlife we love.
Through the last "Migration is Natural" pottery series, together we raised $92.02 for Cornell Lab of Ornithology. I've been using their birdcast.org tool to track spring migration and their eBird.org database and Merlin app to search for migratory species nearby. So it only makes sense the proceeds of this series go to them. Check out their work at www.birds.cornell.edu
Hi, I'm Tú
the hands behind Tu Hands Creations.
I handcraft functional pottery and original art inspired by wildlife and the wild places they call home. When I’m not making pottery, you’ll likely find me somewhere outdoor bird watching and taking photos of any wildlife I encounter.
As a scientist-turned-artist, I’m drawn to ceramics for the same patience, curiosity, and spirit of experimentation the medium demands. I’m mostly self-taught, learning through hands-on practice, a few foundational classes at my community studio, and the generous wisdom of fellow artists there and online.
I hope my work brings a sense of joy and wonder into your daily life and invites you to notice the magnificent natural world around you.
