Collection: Desert Southwest Wildlife

A pottery collection inspired by the residents of the desert—and their stories of adaptation, resilience, and subtle beauty.

I’ve mostly lived in cities full of motion and sound. When I moved to the desert, its stillness felt barren. But slowly, I began to notice its richness—sandstone under the brightest sun, cactus blooms after long dry spells, and birds—cactus wrens, verdins, Gila woodpeckers—making homes among the thorns.

This is also where my ceramics journey began, and I have been sourcing inspirations from the desert since.
