This mug features some of the Southwest’s most iconic natives: Gambel’s quail, ocotillo, and agave—set against a warm, sunlit desert landscape. The raised details of each species were trailed or sculpted with slip, then hand-painted with different glazes to bring the scene to life. Tracing the tactile textures offers sensory engagement—perfect for waking up your senses with morning coffee or relaxing your mind during evening tea.

Handwashing is recommended for pieces with sculpted details.
Even fully vitrified ceramics can absorb liquids over time if left soaking, especially in dirty or colored water, and get stained. Avoid prolonged soaking and rinse promptly after use.
Sudden temperature swings (like ice water into a hot mug or fridge-to-microwave) can cause cracks in ceramics over time. Letting pieces reach room temperature before heating or chilling helps them last longer.
