This wheel-thrown bowl features a swallow carrying a shooting star, featuring a shimmery brown glaze as part of a modern earthy palette.
This piece is marked as a ‘second’ due to a surface crack and a glaze chip on the foot (see last photo). The crack doesn’t go through to the inside, so it’s still food-safe and functional—but it may not be as durable over time. Priced accordingly.

Handwashing is recommended for pieces with sculpted details.
Even fully vitrified ceramics can absorb liquids over time if left soaking, especially in dirty or colored water, and get stained. Avoid prolonged soaking and rinse promptly after use.
Sudden temperature swings (like ice water into a hot mug or fridge-to-microwave) can cause cracks in ceramics over time. Letting pieces reach room temperature before heating or chilling helps them last longer.
