Mallard Duck Dabbling Bowl
Mallard Duck Dabbling Bowl
Couldn't load pickup availability
This bowl is inspired by the mallard duck and their typical dabbling behavior. Some waterfowls dive (completely disappear underwater). Others dabble (head underwater, bottom above surface), like the mallard duck, and all we see is a duck butt floating around. Sometimes inspiration strikes in unexpected places.
Use this bowl as a cereal bowl and let your duck swim in milk, or as a trinket plate where you can hang your rings on his legs and let him swim in the rest of your jewelry.
Approx. 6 in diameter x 1.5 in height; 18 oz or 530 ml
Microwave-safe and dishwasher-safe. Hand washing recommended for pieces with sculpted details.

Even fully vitrified ceramics can absorb liquids over time if left soaking, especially in dirty or colored water, and get stained. Avoid prolonged soaking and rinse promptly after use.
Sudden temperature swings (like ice water into a hot mug or fridge-to-microwave) can cause cracks in ceramics over time. Letting pieces reach room temperature before heating or chilling helps them last longer.
